“Austin” is the culmination of Ellsworth Kelly’s seven-decade career and the only building he ever designed.
European art
The over 330 European paintings in the Blanton’s collection range from late 14th-century gilded panels to 19th-century landscapes.
Latin American art
The Blanton has one of the oldest and most comprehensive collections of modern & contemporary Latin American art in the country.
American art
The Blanton’s collection of modern & contemporary U.S. art includes works made using new or unexpected materials, such as Sonya Clark’s “Madam C. J. Walker.”
Prints & Drawings
The Blanton’s encyclopedic collection of 18,000 works on paper features examples from all the major printmaking centers in Europe and North America.
