The Blanton welcomes students and educators from all Austin-area school districts, providing enriching experiences that support learning inside and outside the classroom.

By fostering a deeper connection with art, we aim to inspire creativity, critical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in students of all grade levels.

School Group Visits

A group of smiling young students sit in chairs on the Blanton grounds. Austin by Ellsworth Kelly is in the background.

The Blanton’s school group visits include interactive, inquiry-based activities grounded in TEKS objectives that reinforce curricular goals in language arts, social studies, STEAM, and visual arts.

Students of all grade levels are invited to explore how art can help us think and feel at the same time. Guided gallery lessons are available in English, Spanish or bilingual and are approximately 50 minutes.

Professional Development for Educators

We offer custom-tailored, interactive workshops for educators in all subject areas. Explore professional development opportunities for your team.
